“Crazy Love,” by California pastor Francis Chan, is an impassioned call for radical lives for Jesus Christ, lives of all-out surrender to Christ. His own heart and passion for God comes out clearly in the book – and it is contagious.
He has very strong chapters on lukewarm Christians and being obsessed with Jesus. There is also a fascinating chapter containing a dozen or so snapshots of Christians who have made a difference.
One disagreement I have is his view that anyone less than a fully committed Christian is not Christian at all. I don’t think that the preponderance of biblical evidence supports this view.
But besides that, this is an outstanding book.
