John Stott, long-time pastor of All Souls Church in London, England, had an incredible ministry over the last half of the 20th century. Besides his pastoral ministry, he wrote about 50 books, including a number of superb commentaries. He also had a wide-ranging speaking and leadership ministry around the world. Most importantly, by all accounts he was a man of incredible devotion to Christ.
In this book, written at the end of his life, 30 or 40 of his close friends write brief testimonials about his life. These kind of books are never great books, but it was worth reading for me because I find myself continually inspired by Stott’s life.
