The Externally Focused Church

This book is outstanding.  It is built on the premise that the church must be externally focused. That is, the church must not focus inward on itself, but outward on its community, expressing Christ’s love in tangible ways to needy and hurting people.

I felt so challenged reading it.  I not only wish every person at WoodsEdge would read it, but I wish I had read it several years ago when it first came out.

The authors, two friends from Colorado who are immersed in the world of the church, give a vision for how church can be done, the impact a church can make in its community.  Plus, they give dozens of models, examples and ideas.
