Bob Russell transitioned from pastoring Southeast Christian Church, a large church in Louisville, Kentucky, a few years ago. The transition went very smoothly and the church has continued to thrive since he left. In many ways, his transition is considered textbook on how to transition well. Here he tells the story, and he includes his honest feelings about the difficulties and mistakes he made.

This was a valuable book to read, in giving me perspective for the future. It will be even more valuable to re-read when it comes time to make my own transition.
