Why I Am A Christian

by John Stott

John Stott is an incisive thinker and a concise writer. This is his rather personal statement of why he is a Christian. He became a Christian as a young man and rose to become one of the influential leaders in the worldwide church. He writes about the staggering claims of Christ, the difference that the cross makes, the need for freedom that is found in Christ, the paradox of our humanity, including both dignity and shame, and how Christ fulfills our deepest aspirations. It is a brief but very good book. Stott is always worth reading.
